Beverly Nelson

Beverly Nelson, daughter of Walter F. And Jean (Gibson) Kuster was born August 11, 1939, in Harlan, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Persia High School in Persia, Iowa.
Bev loved reading books and baking. She loved visiting with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She always had great neighbors that stopped by often for a visit and a snack.
She found the love of her life when she met Jim Nelson at a dance in Neola. They were married August 17, 1957, and moved to her home place outside of Persia, Iowa in 1980.
Bev is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Jean Kuster; her son James Dean Nelson; grandson, Keith Nelson, and her brothers, Kenneth Kuster and Robert Kuster.
She is survived by her children, Chuck (Margo) Nelson, Caroline (Kurt) Stamp, Brenda (Terry) Thomas, Tom (Michelle) Nelson; daughter-in-law Robin Nelson; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister Mary Jean Barney; many nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
