Albert Mcmichael

Albert V. McMichael, son of William and Helen (Conn) McMichael was born February 10, 1938 in Red Oak, Iowa. He was one of seven children. He graduated high school in Red Oak with the Class of 1957. After graduation, Albert joined the Army and served for 12 years. In 2017, he received an award and certificate for being a Vietnam War Veteran.
On September 16, 1989 Albert was united in marriage to Della Arigo in Avoca. To this union, they became a blended family. Albert had three children: Eugene, Dennis and Sherry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially loved to collect coins. Following his discharge from the Army, Albert worked as a security guard at the Federal Reserve Bank in Omaha, Variety Distributors and CDS Global before his retirement. Albert was a lifelong member of the NRA.
Albert passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 attaining the age of eighty years, three months and five days. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Della and siblings Russell McMichael, Eugene McMichael, Mary Lebell, Alice Morris, Howard McMichael and Phyllis Baker.
He is survived by his children Eugene McMichael of Arabi, LA; Dennis McMichael of Metairie, LA; Sherry Todd of Paradis, LA; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; lifelong friends Dave and Linda Lewis of Council Bluffs, IA; Steve Slagle of Harlan, IA; many other relatives and friends.
