She really enjoyed working at H&R Block. She also volunteered at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce for five years. There she helped with the awards banquet, teas, golf tournaments, and helping in the office making chamber gift certificates, assisting customers, etc. Her coworkers described her as being kind, having a loving spirit, intelligent, and fun. Marcia and Amy used the phrase “Keep on truckin” quite often!
Amy’s health has not been for the last few years but everyday she read the Bible, studied the scriptures, and prayed for family members and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her cats Olivia and Snowball. Amy also enjoyed watching birds and squirrels that we fed on the deck. She enjoyed the plants that we planted on the deck also. Amy loved taking care of them and watching them grow and change. We played many games of solitaire and uno. She wrote many encouragement notes to family and friends.
