Andrew Philip Chapman, son of Kenneth and Kathleen (Freese) Chapman, was born on November 18, 1975 in Missouri Valley, Iowa. He attended grade school in Logan, Iowa and graduated from Logan Magnolia High School in 1994. On August 10, 1996, Andrew was united in marriage to Jill Ring at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Neola, Iowa. To this union two children were born: Courtney and Kenneth.

Growing up Andrew enjoyed going to Hay Lake in Minnesota. He loved fishing and passed this on to his children. They would spend all day and all night on the water. Andrew was a man of many talents, mostly self taught. He liked working with wood and made many numerous projects. He enjoyed Star Wars, Lord of The Rings and 80s movies to name a few. He did his apprentice work through IBEW Local 22 to become a journeyman electrician. He loved working on his small farm where he and Jill raised hogs and pasture hay. Andrew also was very good at tolerating his wife's passion for horses. He was the best trail partner. He was so very proud of his two children. They brought him so many great memories and the best title, Dad. He was known as the funcle (fun uncle) because he was one to be rough and rowdy with all of his nephews, nieces and any other kid willing to play.

After a brief diagnosis, Andrew passed away on July 2, 2023 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, having attained the age of 47 years, 7 months and 14 days. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth; brother-in-law Doug Hall and father-in-law Alvin Ring.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Jill Chapman of Neola, Iowa; daughter Courtney (Christopher) White of Neola, Iowa; son Kenneth Chapman (fiancé Brianna Burns) of Neola, Iowa; mother Kathleen Chapman of Logan, Iowa; sister Rani Hall of Opelika, Alabama; brother Kevin (Kelly) Chapman of Persia, Iowa; mother-in-law Jana Ring of Neola, Iowa; nieces and nephews, other family and many, many friends.
