Auriol LaBelle Jensen, daughter of Louis Clyde and Alma Wilhelmina (Kohlscheen) Klindt, was born on May 19, 1917, in Avoca, Iowa. She was baptized at the United Methodist Church in Gretna, Nebraska. Auriol attended Avoca Public School, graduating in 1934, then attended Van Sant Business School in Omaha, Nebraska for secretarial training for three months.

On January 14, 1936, Auriol was united in marriage to Lloyd Jensen in Maryville, Missouri. The couple were blessed with two daughters: Beverly and Sheila.

Auriol worked for J. L. Brandeis in Omaha for almost twenty-five years as a sales clerk, retiring at the age of 70 in May 1987. In addition to sewing, making quilts and kids clothes, she also enjoyed traveling all over the world, visiting far away places such as Korea, Japan, China, Egypt, and Russia. She belonged to the Ladies Aid in Fullerton, Nebraska and to a book club in Kimballton, Iowa.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2014, Auriol died at Bethany Assisted Living in Sun City, Arizona, having attained the age of ninety-seven years, three months, and eight days. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Beverly Olsen. She is survived by her daughter Sheila and her husband Dwight Lockhart of Sun City, Arizona; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other family members and many friends.
