Bernard H. Kleffman

Bernard (Bernie) Kleffman passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023, at the age of 60 in Portsmouth, Iowa. He was born on June 30, 1962 in Harlan, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his father Ralph F. Kleffman, mother Helen Kleffman and brothers Bill and Steve Kleffman.
Bernie is survived by his siblings Bob (Peggy) Kleffman of San Ramon, CA., Ralph J. (Caroline) Kleffman of Olathe, KS., Glen (Becky) Kleffman of Portsmouth, IA., Lori (Bob) Mages of Panama, IA., Paul Kleffman of Portsmouth, IA., as well as nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Bernie attended St. Mary's Panama-Portsmouth Grade School. He graduated from Harlan Community High School in 1980. He also graduated from Universal Technical Institute in Omaha, NE. in 1986. He lived and worked (Tyson Foods) in Denison, IA. for many years. More recently he worked at Panama Transfer in Panama, IA. and lived in Portsmouth, IA.
Bernie was a hard worker and when not working he enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking some cross country trips, fishing and camping. He will be missed by his family and friends.
