Betty Lou Andersen, daughter of Peter and Helen Whitney Madsen, was born on September 25, 1922 in Harlan, Iowa. Mrs. Andersen had worked for many years as an activity director in a retirement home and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Branson where she was very active in Vacation Bible School, Awanas, served as a Sunday school teacher at different levels in the children department and was a member of FiftyFive Plus Club. She was also a member of the garden club and Cox Auxillary. She and her husband moved to Branson from Iowa in 1991.
Betty Lou passed away on January 21, 2017 at her home in Branson.
Survivors are her two children: Bonnie Lou Kokes of Papillion, Nebraska and Craig Andersen of Brandon, Missouri, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Andersen, at GreenLawn Funeral Home in Branson.
