Bonnie Lee Donaldson

Bonnie Lee Donaldson was born on October 1, 1926 to Howard and Grace (Bamsey) Jones in Harlan, Iowa. When Bonnie was an infant, the family moved to Shelby where she attended school through the tenth grade.
In July of 1946, Bonnie was united in marriage to Paul Donaldson in Kansas. They had one son, Billie Donaldson. Bonnie was a homemaker and stay at home mother. She enjoyed helping her husband farm and taking care of Billie and the household. The family lived and farmed near Shelby and Tennant, Iowa.
After Paul’s death, Bonnie lived at Country Care Center south of Harlan. In 2012, she became a resident of Elm Crest Retirement Home in Harlan.
Bonnie died on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa having attained the age of eighty-seven years, five months, and fourteen days. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Grace, her husband Paul, sister Lola Jones and brother Verle Jones.
She is survived by her son Billie Donaldson of Clinton, Utah; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.
