Cheryl Lynn Lebeck was born on September 26, 1957 to Byron and Maxine Gill at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa. She attended elementery school in Hancock Iowa and graduated with Avo-Ha Community Schools class of 1975 in Avoca, Iowa.
She was involved in 4H and loved showing cattle at the County Fair and AK-Sar-Ben. She won Grand Champion Market Steer at the East Pottawattamie County Fair.
She attended Patricia Steven's and Iowa Western Community College after high school.
Cheryl worked at West Telemarketing. She liked working with computers and even wrote a few computer programs for employees.
She was an AVID Hawkeye Fan, loved flowers, gardening, cooking, reading and animals. She enjoyed celebrating and decorating for Halloween. She was very interested in Native American Culture, and was in a dart throwing league. Cheryl was very carinng and loved to help people.
From the day he was born her son Brandon was the joy of her life.
Cheryl died on Sunday January 18, 2015 at the Lydia House in Omaha, Nebraska having attained the age of fifty seven years, three months and twenty three days. She is preceded in death by her parents Byron and Maxine Lebeck.
She is survived by her son Brandon Ratashak of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Brother Rodney Lebeck and his wife Lorraine of Walnut, Iowa; Sisters - Karen Threadgill and her husband George of Milan, Tennessee; Jean Romano and husband John of Omaha, Nebraska and Lisa Holtz and her husband Darwin of Avoca, Iowa; nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
