(Wetherilt) Cotant in Grand Island, Nebraska. She grew up and attended school in Kearney and Hastings, graduating from Adams Central High School in 2004. She attended Culinary School at Central Community College and graduated in 2007.

Tina worked at the Riverside Country Club in Grand Island and in November of 2008, moved to Avoca, Iowa and began working at the Harlan Golf and Country Club in Harlan, Iowa.

She enjoyed John Deere memorabilia, teddy bears, and loved to cook and bake. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews.

Tina died on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident south of Harlan, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph Wetherilt, Charles "Mac" McClure, and Leota (Wetherilt) McClure, and Harvey and Elva Cotant; two uncles, one aunt; and one cousin.

She is survived by her parents Mary Wetherilt of Grand Island, Nebraska and Doug Cotant of Kearney, Nebraska; brother Patrick McClure and his wife Sherilyn of Grand Island; sisters: Teresa Cotant of Omaha, Nebraska, Stephanie and her husband Justin Krahulik of Garland, Nebraska, and Denise and her husband Troy Hythecker of Davenport, Iowa; special friend Jeff Goettsch and his family of Avoca, Iowa; other family members and many friends.

Pastor Troy Hythecker officiated the 2:00 PM funeral service on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island, Nebraska. Burial was held in the Grand Island City Cemetery.
