Clara Theresa Bledsoe
February 20, 1930 — February 26, 2019
Clara Theresa Bledsoe, daughter of Harry and Lena (Gustafsen) Wiese was born February 20, 1930 in Avoca, Iowa. She grew up on the farm attending a one room schoolhouse as a child. She graduated from Avoca High School with the Class of 1947.
Clara married and moved to Council Bluffs Iowa. She worked at Northern Natural Gas, McKesson Robbins and Priority Data. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and sewing; especially the art of quilting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and was always there for them.
Clara died on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 after a brief stay at the Glen Haven Home in Glenwood, Iowa attaining the age of eighty-nine years and six days. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Eleanor Hodgson.
Left to cherish her memory, her children George Bledsoe and his wife Teresa of Glenwood, Iowa; Phyllis and her husband Steve Combs of Battle Creek, Michigan; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Arlene Sievers of Avoca, Iowa; other relatives and many friends.
