Colin Tyson Luth, was born to Loren Luth and Nicki Byram on June 12, 1976 in Atlantic, Iowa. He attended elementary school in Avoca and high school at Lewis Central in Council Bluffs where he was a state champion swimmer. He attended Creighton University and studied art.
Colin was engaged in farming on the family farm west of Hancock with his brother John and father Loren. He was a musician, artist and avid reader of literary works. Colin was a true comedian and put a smile on everyone’s face.
Colin passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the age of thirty nine years, nine months and thirteen days. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ernest and Ellen Luth; and Gerald Byram and Mary Campbell.
Colin is survived by his father Loren Luth of Hancock, IA; his mother Nicki Byram of Council Bluffs, IA; brother Kevin Luth of Omaha, NE; brother John (Brandy) Luth of Walnut, IA; sister Chelsea (Ian) Frederick of Omaha, NE; aunt Iris (Terry) McMullen of Littleton, CO; uncle Garry (Betty) Byram of Youngstown, OH.;
Colin was an adoring and devoted uncle and is survived by his nieces and nephews, Shaay and Leif Purdy, Adriawna, Jaden, Sophia,
MaryEllen and Eliza Luth, and Rebekah and Hadley Frederick.
