David Patrick King, a beloved brother and a cherished friend, passed away on December 26, 2024, at Willow Dale Wellness Village, at the age of 84. Born on January 6, 1940, in the heart of Minnesota, David embraced a life filled with kindness, warmth, and laughter.

David was known for his kind and welcoming personality, effortlessly making others feel at ease in his presence. His great sense of humor brightened the days of everyone he encountered, creating moments of joy and connection that will be remembered fondly by those who loved him.

Throughout his life, David cultivated a range of hobbies and interests that reflected the depth of his character. He found great pleasure in listening to country music, finding solace and inspiration in the stories it told. He had a particular fondness for reading picture books and magazines, often indulging in the simple joys they offered. Additionally, David had an impressive collection of CDs and small figurines, treasures that spoke to his passions and brought him joy.

David is survived by his beloved sister, Lucille (Jerry) Dennison of Westfield, Iowa, and his brother, Philip King of Portland, Oregan. Their shared memories and the love they held for each other will keep his spirit alive in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick King, and mother, Marion Wyatt King, both of whom instilled in him the values of compassion and love. David was also reunited with his brothers Jack and Robert King, along with his sisters-in-law, Shirley and Doris King, who are now surely watching over him.
