David Krohn

David Lee Krohn, age 72, of Ionia, Michigan, passed away Wednesday April 25, 2018 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 8, 1946 in Harlan, Iowa the son of Harry and Fern (Clausen) Krohn. “I was born and raised on a farm, I had a good upbringing and tried to play well with others and enjoyed every day. I tried to be a good citizen, made mistakes but learned well.” David was a proud member of the U.S. Army serving from May 1966 until June 1987. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, driving a race car, tinkering with cars or anything he could work on with his hands. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Edwina, ex-wife Rogene (Nielsen) Terrian; Children, Kimberly Rogers, Jennifer (Paul) Stauffer, Lesley (Jeff) Thorp, and Jason (Lisa) Krohn; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother Kenneth (Sherry) Krohn.
