Diana Kay Dewaele, daughter of Paul and Bonnie (Harbold) Stromberg, was born September 8, 1951 in Council Bluffs, IA. She lived on a farm near Hastings, IA as an infant and then moved to another farm in the Hazel Dell area, northeast of Council Bluffs where she started school in a one-room schoolhouse.
