Donald Bielenberg

Donald William Bielenberg was born at Schleswig, Iowa, February 21, 1946, the son of Bart and Ann Kuehl Bielenberg. He was raised there where he was a member of the United Church of Christ and was graduated from the Schleswig High School with the class of 1964. He furthered his education at the University of South Dakota before graduating from the Reppert School of Auctioneering in Indiana. Upon completion of his education he returned to Schleswig where he farmed and was an auctioneer. While on the farm he enjoyed raising horses. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially trips to Canada, and socializing with friends. Don died Wednesday July 11, 2007, at his home in Schleswig. At the time of his death he had been blessed with 61 years, 4 months and 20 days. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include five children, Scott Bielenberg and wife, Glenda of Deloit, Iowa, Christie Zangerle of Marion, Iowa, Zachary Bielenberg of Schleswig, Iowa, Adrienne and husband, E.J. Infanger of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota and Jake Bielenberg of Longmont, Colorado, three grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
