Donald Dwayne Schroder was born December 6, 1963, and later adopted by Dorothy and Dwayne Schroder of Hancock, Iowa. He grew up in Hancock Iowa and attended school in the Shelby-Tennant district.
Donald was known by many names throughout his life; Donnie, Don, but he was known by most as “Cowboy.” He loved to make people smile and laugh, always the joker. His favorite pastimes were firearms, motorcycles, playing pool, and music. He was a kind and generous person who was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He would give them the shirt on his back if necessary. He was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Marina who was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany; children Connor Bartlett of Council Bluffs, IA; Morgan Bartlett of Hancock, IA; Jolene Schueman (Daniel) of Papillion, NE; 2 granddaughters: Kailynn and Hayden Schueman; Brother Ken Schroder, Sister Twyla Shaffer; and many other nieces, nephews, and other family members.
