Donald Springman

Donald Michael Springman was born Feb 9, 1939 to Nick and Anna Springman in Portsmouth, lowa. He was the youngest of 6 brothers and sisters. He graduated from St Mary's Catholic School Portsmouth, low. After serving 3 yrs in the United States Army he moved back home to Portsmouth and started farming close to the family farm. He retired from farming in 2012. Don married Mary Fitzgerald on Feb 24, 1995 at St Rose of Lima in Denison, lowa
Don enjoyed farming and fixing up his old farm tractors and going on tractor rides. He also went on numerous organized tractor rides in lowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
He is preceded in death by his parents (Nick and Anna), his wife Mary (2018), sisters Mary Ann (Blum), Helen (Miller), and brother Joe. He is survived by his sisters Francis (Anastasi), Theresa (Blum), and brother Nick, sons Tim (Portsmouth), Dan (Portsmouth) and Pat (Diane) of Exeter, California. Granddaughter's Samantha Springman (Harlan), and Jennifer Springman (Portsmouth)
