Eldon Frederick Ellerbeck, son of William and Frieda (Krueger) Ellerbeck, was born on September 18, 1937 in Washta, Iowa. He graduated from Nora Springs High School. He was united in marriage to Joan Steiner on June 24, 1995 at St. Joan of Arch Church in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Eldon was a people person. He was one to call if you ever needed help. He enjoyed working at Farmhall-land USA and even would fill in after he retired in 2012. He loved collecting cars and had quite the Corvette collection. Eldon enjoyed reading books about History, and watching movies. His favorite movie star was Marilyn Monroe and had a big collection of her memorabilia.
On Saturday, January 20, 2024, Eldon passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Bethany Lutheran Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa, having attained the age of 86 years, 4 months and 2 days. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife Norma; sister Marilyn Clute; grandson Steven Kuhn and daughter June Smith.

Ayr, IA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Beverly Job of Tennessee; Clifton Ellerbeck of Des Moines, IA; Paul Ellerbeck of San Francisco, CA; other family members and many friends.
