Emiliano Fernando Ramos

Emiliano Fernando Ramos was born December 18, 1996, in Los Angeles, California. The family made their home in Los Angeles until 2008 when they moved to Denison, Iowa, where Emiliano graduated from high school with the class of 2015. During his high school years he enjoyed wrestling and playing football. He held various jobs during high school and was about to begin a job in road construction. In his spare time he enjoyed lifting weights and shopping as he took pride in always looking presentable. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison. Emiliano died Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. At the time of his death he was 19 years, 5 months and 24 days of age. Survivors include his mother, 3 sisters, his fiancé, 1 aunt and 2 cousins. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2016, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison with Father Paul Kelly as Celebrant. Those serving as pallbearers included Cecilia Ramos, Karina Penaflor, Noe Cabrera, Junior Hernandez, Casey Curnyn and Lalo Ramiez. Following cremation, Emiliano will be entrusted to his family. A visitation was held from 3:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison.
