Esther Margaret Harder,

Esther Margaret Harder was born on September 21, 1923 to John and Olga (Stuhr) Harder in Avoca, Iowa. After her graduation from high school, she attended teacher’s college at Iowa State University.
For the next forty-two years, Esther taught school at Perry, Adel, Earlham, and Rue Elementary in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She never married but enjoyed the many children in her life.
Esther died on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Life Care Center in Elkhorn, Nebraska, having attained the age of eighty-nine years, ten months, and twenty-four days. She was preceded in death by her parents.
