Jane E. Foxhoven

Jane Emma Foxhoven, daughter of Walter George and Doris Susan (Finken) Schneider, was born on June 19, 1945, in Harlan, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia and graduated from St. Boniface High School. After high school, Jane continued her education at Barnes Beauty College where she obtained her beautician�s license.
On September 11, 1965, Jane was united in marriage to Kenneth Foxhoven at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia. Two daughters were born to this union: Sherri and Shawn.
Jane worked as a beautician for over forty years and was also employed at Communication Data Services in Harlan, Iowa, in the mail opening department since Dec. 14, 1998 . When Jane wasn�t working, she enjoyed spending time outside in her garden, bird watching, playing bingo, watching car races, and spending time with her family.
Jane and Kenneth were members of St. Joseph�s Catholic Church in Earling, Iowa.
Jane died on Friday, May 8, 2009, at University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, having attained the age of sixty-three years, ten months, and nineteen days. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Russell.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth of Earling, Iowa; their daughters Sherri and her husband Dave Eubanks of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Shawn Foxhoven of Greenville, South Carolina; four grandchildren: Warren, Christian, Ford, and Quentin; her siblings: Ken Schneider and his wife Kim of Portsmouth, Iowa; Jerome Schneider and his wife Connie of Westphalia, Iowa; Ric Schneider and his wife Jan of Avoca, Iowa; Allen Schneider and his wife Sue of Harlan, Iowa; Mary and her husband Gary Fitzgerald of Clare, Iowa; Denise and her husband Mark Andries of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Jean and her husband Ken Friesen of Crescent, Iowa; Sandy and her husband John Busch of Claremore, Oklahoma; Pam and her husband George Gingrich of Woodbridge, Virginia; nieces; nephews; other family members and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, May 11, 2009, at St. Joseph�s Catholic Church in Earling, Iowa. Rev. Tom Coenen celebrated the 10:30 AM service with Rev. Wayne Gubbels and Rev. Ken Gross concelebrating. Burial was held at St. Joseph�s Cemetery in Earling with Warren Eubanks, Christian Eubanks, Ford Eubanks, Quentin Foxhoven Ripley, Ken Schneider, Jerome Schneider, Ric Schneider, Allen Schneider acting as honorary casket bearers. Serving as casket bearers were: Barry Schneider, Jeremy Schneider, Mike Andries, Brian Schneider, Todd Schneider, and Mike Schneider
