Joan Michels, 89 of Lincoln, formerly of Earling, Iowa, passed away on January 7, 2022.
Mrs. Michels was born on October 31, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska to Willard and Lyla (Coe) Kennel.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Edwin Albert Michels.
Joan is survived by her children: Kathy Michels, Cindy Kennel, David Michels, Teresa Baxter, Steve Michels, Sheri McCool and Mary Christine Swails, 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3128 S St, Lincoln with Fr. Jason Doher celebrating the Mass.
Rosary will be at 10:30 am on Thursday at the church.
Burial will be at St Joseph Cemetery in Earling, Iowa at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to St Joseph Catholic Church in Earling.
