John Edward Sawick, son of Harry and Stella (Martina) Sawick, was born on June 8, 1940 in Therimopolis, Wyoming. He attended school in Wyoming and graduated from High School in 1958. After high school he attended the University of Wyoming and received a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. John worked as an Electrical Engineer for the Army Corp of Engineers until his retirement in 2001.
On Saturday, October 29, 2022, John passed at his home surrounded by his loving family, having attained the age of 82 years, 4 months and 21 days. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Stella; siblings Helen and Walt and granddaughter Whitney.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Ann (Dennis) Mercer of Naples, Florida; Andrea (Antonio) Boyd of Mesa, Arizona; Theresa (Mike) Noble of Sarasota, Florida; son Ty Thonvold of Tucson, Arizona; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Mike, Bobby, Jenny, Joanna and Tony; nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
