Joshua H. Potter

Joshua Herman Potter was born in Sioux City, Iowa, May 10, 1989. He was raised in Denison, Iowa, where he received his education, graduating from Denison High School with the class of 2008. During high school he was active in F.F.A. He furthered his education for two years at Western Iowa Tech in Denison and Sioux City where he completed their Automotive Program. He was currently employed in Denison at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Store and in the Meat Department at Fareway Grocery Store. In his spare time he enjoyed family gatherings, camping, playing darts and pool, anything automotive, Nascar and was a big fan of Johnny Cash music. He was a member of Life Church of Sioux City. Joshua died early Thursday at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa. At the time of his death he had been blessed with 22 years, 5 months and 23 days. Those remaining to cherish his memory include his mother and father: Lisa Potter and Phillip Totten of Denison, Iowa; grandparents: Sandra R. Fry of Bronson, Iowa, Loyd Dean Fry of Oelwein, Iowa, and Ron and Darlene Totten of Denison, Iowa; two brothers: Michel Potter and Cody Totten of Denison, Iowa; three sisters: Jennifer Potter, Hayley Totten and Kayla Potter of Denison, Iowa, many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
