Services: 2:00  p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Pfannebecker Funeral Home, Denison, IowaVisitation: 1 hour prior to service time, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Pfannebecker Funeral Home, Denison, IowaBurial: Crawford Heights Memory Gardens, Denison, Iowa Judy Ann Beck was born in Estherville, Iowa, January 2, 1951, the daughter of Alvin Ruben and Dorothy Bleich Beck.  She was raised in Swea City until moving to Denison, Iowa, in 1960, where she graduated from high school with the class of 1968.  Following high school Judy attended an airline school before returning to Denison where she was employed for over ten years at the bus depot and later for many years at Super-Valu.  Judy was currently employed at Ampride in Denison where she had worked for nearly the past twenty-five years.  In conjunction with working at Ampride, she also worked for eight years in the canteen at Denison Job Corps.  In her spare time she collected bears and greatly enjoyed attending the Super-Valu employee reunions each year.  Judy was discovered deceased in her home in Denison Friday, April 18, 2014.  At the time of her death she had been blessed with 63 years, 3 months and 16 days.   Judy was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Beck. Those remaining to cherish her memory include her mother, Dorothy Beck of Denison, Iowa, one brother, Lee Beck and wife Debbie of Elkhorn, Nebraska, one sister, Kathy and husband Dick Netley of Omaha, Nebraska, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Pfannebecker Funeral Home, Denison, Iowa, with the Rev. Paul Seefeldt officiating.  Music for the service included recorded selections of “How Great Thou Art” and “Wings of a Dove”.  Pallbearers included Mark Bilsten, James Clark, Dan Pfannebecker, Robert Curnyn, Roger Dozark and James Leinen.  Interment was at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens, Denison, Iowa.  Following the interment all were invited to join the family at the United Presbyterian Church in Denison for fellowship and refreshments provided by the United Presbyterian Women.  The Pfannebecker Funeral Home, www.pfannebecker.com , Denison, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements where a visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
