Julia Gibson

Julia Christine Gibson was born October 3, 1967 in Harlan, Iowa to Jacqueline Jill (Kline) and H. David Gibson. She was raised on a farm west of Tennant. Julia attended the Shelby-Tennant School, where she excelled in track, going on to state. She was also the catcher for the softball team. In her senior year, she was voted prom queen. Julia graduated high school in 1986.
After graduation, she left for Finland for a year as an exchange student. Returning from Finland, she went on to graduate from ISU in Ames. From there, Julia worked for financial institutions in Omaha. She most recently worked at Feltz Wealth Management in Omaha.
Julia married Kelly Todd in February, 2008. She enjoyed needlework, reading, sports, history, and traveling.
Julia died June 30, 2017, attaining the age of 49 years, 8 months, and 27 days. She is survived by her parents, Jill and Dave Gibson of Harlan, Iowa; brother, Jim Gibson and his wife Karwyn of Panora; and two nieces, Reagan and Riley Gibson.
