Kathleen Alice Williamson was born to John and Ruth (Peterson) Turner on January 3, 1956, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She started school at Shelby-Tennant Elementary and stayed there through high school. Kathleen worked at the school library while in high school.

Kathleen was a very hard worker, after graduation, she started working in Denison at Dubuque Packing and IBP. She married Kenneth Williamson, and in that marriage, they had 3 daughters, Heather, Amber, who passed away at birth, and Crystal. Kathleen later divorced and moved to Harlan where she began work at Mikels restaurant. She then started work as a CNA at Little Flower Haven in Earling in 1999, where she could honor her passion of caring for others. Kathleen worked there until they closed their doors and she retired in 2019.

Kathleen's daughters were her trophies. She bragged about them everywhere she went. While raising her daughters , Kathleen tried her best at making their lives the utmost importance. Kathleen thrived at watching her girls grow into beautiful and strong women.

After retirement, Kathleen would help look after her grandchildren. She would take them to the pool, library, on walks, to the park, and route for them in any sports activity they were in. Kathleen loved gardening and taking care of all kinds of plants. You would often find her outside by her flower bed. Kathleen also enjoyed curling up on her couch with a blanket to do crossword puzzles and watch Bigfoot and football. Kathleen's passion for caring for people never stopped after she retired, she was always looking out for others, especially her neighbors.
