Kathryn Delores Wulf was born in Denison, Iowa, June 11, 1933, the daughter of John and Florence Lewis Whited. She was raised in Denison where she received her education. She was united in marriage with Virgil Hartmann and they made their home Denison where their union was blessed with five children, Pamela, Steve, Kim, Candy and Sandy. On November 19, 1971, Kathryn was united in marriage with Lorenz O. Wulf and they made their home in Denison where Kathryn was a homemaker, lovingly caring for her family. Lorenz died June 12, 1991 and Kathryn remained in Denison until recently moving to Schaller, Iowa, where she had since resided. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing, operating her bait shop and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Kathryn died Sunday morning, March 22, 2009, at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa. At the time of her death she had been blessed with 75 years, 9 months and 11 days. Including her parents, John and Florence Whited and her husband, Lorenz O. Wulf, Kathryn was also preceded in death by one brother, Roy Whited and one sister, Gloria Jean Whited. Those remaining to cherish her memory include five children, Pamela Weber of Denison, Steve Hartmann of Dow City, Iowa, and friend, Robbin Evans of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Kim Hartmann of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Candy Hartman and husband, Joe Riley of Schaller, Iowa and Sandy Falline and husband, Rod of Varina, Iowa, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters, John Whited and wife, Marjorie of Denison, Iowa, Shirley Flores of Groesbeck, Texas, Rose and husband Lloyd Williams of Loveland, Iowa, Dewey Whited and wife Ann of Cornelius, Oregon, Wilbur Whited and wife, Pat of Cornelius, Oregon, Phyllis Schauf of Mission, Texas, and Peggy and husband, Ed Shumate of Dow City, Iowa, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at the Pfannebecker Funeral Home in Denison with Pastor Terry Pollard officiating. Music for the service included recorded selections of "Amazing Grace" and "In The Garden". Pallbearers included Nathan Riley, Stephen Pullen, Gavin Pullen, Terry Pullen, Chris Hartmann, Ethan Hartmann and Austin Hartmann. Interment was at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison. Following the interment all were invited to the Denison Baptist Church in Denison for fellowship and a luncheon prepared and served by the Fellowship Team. The Pfannebecker Funeral Home,
