Kelly Jo Hansen, age 58, passed away December 12, 2021 in Harlan, Iowa. She was born February 4, 1963 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Richard and JoAnn (Trullinger) Johnson in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
She is proceeded in death by both her parents, her husband, Larry John Hansen and her son Kurtis J Lund.
Kelly is survived by children, son Mike Hansen and Wife Natasha, daughter Kelli Whyte and husband Kemal, daughter Elizabeth Pritchard and husband Aaron, son Nathan Hansen-Johnson and wife Amanda and daughter Taylor Hansen and boyfriend John King. Sibling Kevin Johnson and wife Sarah. Twenty-one grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews and lots of loving life long friends.
Kelly was a soft, gentle woman. She was loved by many and welcomed all her kid's friends as her own.. She had lots of bonus kids and grandkids. If she could of read books all day she would have, even while her husband was fishing, you'd find her sitting under a tree on a blanket escaping away into another world through her favorite books. You could always find her on the weekends sitting on the east side covered stands cheering on her husband, family and all the family friends at the Shelby County Speed Way.
26 years, Kelly spent working away in the call center at CDS Global in Harlan, Iowa and retired in March of 2018.
