Lacy Corina Dills was born on April 10, 1981, the youngest of Merle Dills and Linda (Boeck) Dills Hall, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Lacy grew up in the Omaha and Bellevue, Nebraska area. She graduated from Plattview High near Springfield, Nebraska. Her dream after high school was to become a stewardess and see the world. Instead, Lacy chose a career as a waitress and was very successful even though she had personal struggles.
In Lacy’s spare time, she enjoyed going to the beach, listening to her favorite music, watching TV and playing with her pets. Lacy was known for her beautiful smile and kindness. She loved her family, friends, and past and current significant other.
Lacy passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017, at her father’s home in Bellevue, having attained the age of thirty-six years, three months, and twenty-one days. She is preceded in death by her step-father Danny Hall. She is survived by her father Merle Dills of Bellevue; mother Linda Hall of Shelby, Iowa; brother Chad Dills of Shelby; nephew Collin Dills of Shelby; niece Caitlyn Dills of Shelby; step-brothers and step-sisters; aunts and uncles; cousins; and friends.
