Larry Burl Webb was born at Macy, Nebraska, November 14, 1945, the son of Albert and Frances L. Ueding Webb. He was raised at Macy where he received his education. Following his education Larry served his country in the United States Army from June of 1963 until his honorable discharge in June of 1966. Upon completion of his service Larry made his home in Homer, Nebraska with his first wife Susan and family. He began his 30 year career with IBP in 1967, moving to Denison in 1989, and retiring in 1997. He spent his retirement years in Denison where he had more time to pursue his hobbies of restoring old cars, woodworking, fishing and hunting. On August 7, 2009, Larry was united in marriage with Judith Sargent in Denison. Surrounded by his loving family, Larry died at his home in Denison, Thursday, October 15, 2009. At the time of his death he had been blessed with 63 years, 11 months and 1 day. Those preceding Larry in death were his parents, step-father, Robert Dickison, three brothers, John, James and Gary Lee Webb and three sisters, Sarah and Laura Webb and Rowena Snyder. Those remaining to cherish his memory include his wife, Judith Webb of Denison, Iowa, two sons and their spouses, Bill and Cyndi Webb of Blair, Nebraska and Mike and Jeanine Webb of Homer, Nebraska, one daughter, Mellissa Webb and friend, Danielle of Stanton, Nebraska, five grandchildren, Colt Webb of Springfield, Missouri, Samantha Webb of Greensburg, Kansas, Zane Webb of Homer, Nebraska and Kody and Ashly Reese of Stanton, Nebraska, three sisters, Mary Badberg of Phoenix, Arizona, Lois Stidd of Show Low, Arizona and Wanda and husband, Don McGready of Bull Head City, Arizona, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 18, 2009, at the Pfannebecker Funeral Home in Denison, Iowa, with the Rev. Michael Ring officiating. Music for the service included recorded selections of "Angels", "Daddy?s Hands", "The Old Man" and "Forever and Always". Following cremation, private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill, Nebraska. The Pfannebecker Funeral Home,
