Leta Ann Indermuhle, daughter of Adam and Jacqueline (Bailey) Gdowski, was born on July 22, 1954 in Vallejo, California. She was baptized at the Holy Family Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Leta graduated from Underwood High School with the class of 1972. Leta enlisted in The United States Army in 1980, where she established Private 1st Class ranking and in 1982 she was honorably discharged. On June 21st, 2007, Leta was united in marriage to Jerry Indermuhle.
Leta was the proud owner of Grandma’s Diner in Avoca, Iowa for over 22 years. She retired in March of 2022. She loved to crochet and quilt and traveling to South Dakota.
On September 23, 2022, Leta passed away surrounded by her loving family having attained the age of 68 years, 2 months and 1 day. She was preceded in death by her mother Jacqueline Bailey; brothers Adam Gdowski Jr., and Charles Gdowski.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jerry Indermuhle of Shelby, Iowa; children David (Jessi) Wilson of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Jenni (Erik) Maurer of Las Vegas, Nevada; Paula Wilson of Avoca, Iowa; stepson Mark Indermuhle of Cortilane, Idaho; 6 grandchildren: Adam, Brianna, Spencer, Kira, Brayden, and Faith Indermuhle; father Adam Gdowski of Missouri Valley, Iowa; siblings Anna Ahart of Butte, Nebraska; Jackie Smith (fiancé Dave Gittins) of Missouri Valley, Iowa; Edward Gdowski of Missouri Valley, Iowa; nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
