Linda Muehl the daughter of Truman Sloan and Lillian Macy was born in Casper Wyoming on February 25, 1951. She was one of five children. Linda and her family moved around a lot as a child, so she attended many different schools. She attended Iowa Western and extended her education after receiving her GED from there.
Linda adopted a little Shih-tzu, named Kevin. Kevin soon became her life. He was a great companion.
Linda was a manager at Wings in Avoca when it first opened. Linda worked until 2010 when she retired.
Linda raised her daughter, Christina. Linda was a helper, she helped with many different projects within the community and local area. You could find her helping with Vacation Bible School, Bingo, the Quilting Ladies Group, the Avoca Legion Auxiliary and she also helped with the Shelby 150th Celebration. She loved helping with her church and the community any way that she could. On Linda’s down time she loved to go fishing or work in the garden. Linda had a love of baking and would take her goodies down to the Shelby Vet Clinic to be enjoyed.
Linda passed away December 21, 2021 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother William Foote.
Linda is survived by her daughter Christina (Steven) Niziol of Logan, Iowa; sisters Lory Powers of Norman, Oklahoma and Jo Williams of Casper, Wyoming, and a brother Benjamin (Ann) Schwader of Westminster, Colorado.
