Linda K. Robinson

Linda Kay Robinson, daughter of Bernard and Freda (McDanial) Ankenbauer was born December 15, 1938 in Carroll, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at the Methodist Church in Dedham, Iowa. She attended grade school at Dedham Country School, and graduated from Carroll High School in Carroll, Iowa. After high school, Linda went to AIB in Des Moines.
On March 20, 1960, Linda was united in marriage to Lloyd Robinson in Scranton, Iowa. Two sons were born: Jamie and Lenny. The couple made their home in Irwin, when Lloyd joined his dad in the repair shop. In 1963, they opened Robinson Implement, where Linda worked until her retirement in 2015.
Linda was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors and trips to the cabin in Missouri.
She passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Black Hawk Life Center in Lake View, Iowa, attaining the age of eighty-five years, and three months. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, siblings Doug Ankenbauer, Dean Ankenbauer, and Robert Ankenbauer.
She is survived by her sons Jamie Robinson and Lenny (Tiffany) Robinson all of Irwin, Iowa;
grandchildren Luke (Amy) Robinson, Lane (Hannah) Robinson, Anna Mogensen, Matthew Mogensen, Emily Mogensen; great grandchildren Dean Robinson, Cora Robinson, Lilly Robinson and Elly Robinson; siblings Harry (Betty) Ankenbauer of Michigan; Diane (Ray) Kitt Audubon, Iowa; Judy Ankenbauer of Dedham, Iowa; nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
