Lynn Errol Wirth
Lynn Errol Wirth was born on January 10, 1944 to Donald and Inez (Hunt) Wirth in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He attended elementary school in Macedonia, Iowa and went to secondary school in Villisca, Iowa. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
When he returned home he met and later married Beverly Nelsen on December 14, 1968 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca, Iowa. They were blessed with four children: Stacy, Lonn, Carmin, and Carolyn.
Lynn worked as a truck driver with Henry G. Nelsen, 8-way, Momson, Mel Easton, and the Omaha World Herald. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing.
Lynn died at his home on Monday April 13, 2015 having attained the age of seventy one years, three months and three days. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly, granddaughter Kirsten Wirth, father and mother-in-law Nels and Evelyn Nelsen.
He is survived by his children: Stacy and her husband Rick Hansen of Manilla, Iowa; Lonn Wirth and his wife Sharri of Omaha, Nebraska; Carmin and her husband Carl Brown of Harlan, Iowa; Carolyn and her husband Joe Jansen of Anderson, South Carolina; brother Don Wirth and his wife Sandy of Kewanee, Illinois; sister Carlene and her husband Charles Husz of Carson, Iowa; step mother Edie Berganzel of Red Oak, Iowa; sisters-in-law Karen and her husband Steve Guyer of Hancock, Iowa; and Cheryl and her husband Larry Billings of Hancock, Iowa; brother-in-law Lowell and his wife Kathy Nelsen of Vancouver, Washington; fourteen grandchildren; eight grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
