Marlyn Rudolph Schnepel was born on May 25, 1936 in Hancock Iowa to Claudius and Irene (Buell) Schnepel. He attended school in Hancock and Shelby, Iowa, graduating from Hancock High School.
He married Carolyn Needham in 1964 and they were blessed with two sons: David and Danny.
His life was spent farming both with agriculture and cattle.
Marlyn died on Saturday February 14, 2015 at Oakland Manor Nursing Home, in Oakland, Iowa attaing the age of seventy eight years, eight months and 20 days. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Carolyn.
He is survived by his sons: David Schnepel and wife Betty of Shelby, Iowa and Danny Schnepel and wife Maryellen of Hancock, Iowa, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
