Mary Jane Zaccone was born on July 31, 1936, to Jacob N.Jacobson and Genevieve Gertrude Morrissey in Harlan, Iowa. She graduated from Harlan High School, and in the fall of 1954, in her freshman English class at Creighton University, she met a handsome young man by the name of Martin Zaccone. Mary Jane was dedicated to her church, as her life was centered around her faith and family. Mary Jane had a soft heart for every cause.
She loved to read, play cards, and completed two crossword puzzles a day. She surprised many by her wealth of knowledge on diverse subjects.
