Melissa Ann Crouch was born in Denison, Iowa, August 28, 1989, the daughter of Keith and Brenda Crouch. Melissa was raised in Deloit, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Denison High School in 2007. Melissa passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2020 in Lake View, Iowa at the age of 30 years, 10 months and 1 day.
Melissa resided in Kiron, Iowa. In 2012, Melissa was united in marriage with Koda Jensen in Schleswig, Iowa and their union was blessed with 1 son named Ryker.
Melissa was currently working as an Agriculture Loan Secretary at United Bank of Iowa in Ida Grove, Iowa. Before working at the bank, Melissa had worked at American Home Shield in Carroll.
Melissa’s interests throughout the years included going to her family’s trailer in Lake View in the summer, riding on her boat, sunbathing, watching her son Ryker ride his 4-wheeler, caring for her cat Jinx and now Sophie, shopping, and most of all hanging out with her friends and family. She loved snowmobiling, boating, tanning, jetskiing, 4-wheeling, swimming and fishing. She was a hard worker, always mowing or cleaning and loved to cook chicken noodle soup. She treasured rides in her Dad’s car, GTO. Melissa enjoyed her music and singing along to the lyrics. Melissa was a social butterfly, with a huge contagious laugh and big beautiful smile. She was sassy, bossy, fun and entertaining to be around.
Melissa was proceeded in death by her father, Keith Crouch, Grandma Ruth Crouch, Grandma Sue Kelly, Grandpa Ron Crouch, cousin Rachel Neddermeyer and great grandparents. Those remaining to cherish her memory include her husband Koda Jensen and son Ryker Jensen of Kiron; her mother Brenda Crouch of Deloit; sister Rebecca Crouch of Logan; sister Andrea Beam (Kevin) of Manilla; brother Nick Crouch and fiancé Sydney Myer of Deloit; nephews and nieces: Matthew Lapel, Keira Beam, Kavin Beam, Bentely Crouch and Brooklyn Crouch, as well as other relatives, and many, many friends.
