Michael Franklin Wilson, son of Milo Clinton and Imogene Nadine (Young) Wilson, was born July 7, 1955 in Texas City, Texas. He was the fourth child with two older brothers and one sister. The family lived in south Texas until 1963 when they relocated to Houston, Texas, where Michael attended grade school and graduated from Steve F. Austin High School. As a child, he loved spending time with his maternal grandparents in Premont, Texas.
Michael remained in Houston, Texas until the early 1980's, he helped his step father as a roofer and worked as a Ranch Hand in Fairfield, Texas. He has 3 children from a marriage while living in Texas with 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
On October 6, 2002, Michael was united in marriage to Jolene Gross in Earling, Iowa. Two sons were born to this union. Michael worked as an over the road trucker for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. He was a member of Faith Family Church in Harlan, Iowa.
Michael died Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa, attaining the age of sixty-four years, seven months and nine days. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife Jolene Wilson of Earling, Iowa; children: Michael Franklin Wilson Jr. and his wife Isabel of Houston, Texas; Tiffany Bruce Wilson of Houston, Texas; Jeremiah Jason Wilson of Houston, Texas; Devin Raymond Wilson of Earling, Iowa and Nathan Eugene Wilson of Earling, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; mother Imogene Jacksis of Denison, Iowa; siblings Milo Clinton Wilson, III of Freeport, Texas; Patricia Dianne and her husband Bruce Sengstack of Austin, Texas; Dan Vaughan Wilson of Austin, Texas; nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
