Nancy Ann Kaufman

 Nancy Ann Kaufman was born to Henry and Barbara (Helwig) Kaufman on May 2, 1960 in Harlan, Iowa. She attended grade school at St. Michael’s Catholic School, and in Junior High moved to Harlan Community Schools where she graduated in 1978. While in school, Nancy was very active in sports. She started all 5 years for the Harlan Community High School Softball team and played in state tennis doubles her junior and senior years. After graduation, Nancy attended college at Wayne State University and eventually transferred to North West Missouri State, where she graduated in 1982.

 Following her college graduation, Nancy continued playing in many mixed slow pitch leagues and tournaments. She was a great 1st baseman and a true power hitter. She especially loved Snoopy and the Nebraska Cornhuskers, but nothing could top the love she had for her family. She loved watching her nieces and nephews grow up and attending all of their events. Nancy was a true friend to everyone she knew. She proudly served as the manager of CDS Global for 37 years. She had most recently been employed at Concerned for the last 5 years.

 Nancy passed away at her home in Harlan, Iowa on December 28, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Barbara Kaufman. 

 She is survived by her siblings, Lynne Carroll of Avoca, IA; Mark (Sherry) Kaufman; Susan (Gordon) Brown; Laurie (Tony) Brummer all of Harlan, IA; nieces and nephews, Julie (Jason) Jenneman, Tom (Amy) Carroll, Katie (Nick) Waugh, Andrew (Alisha) Carroll, Zach (Kaitlynn) Kaufman, Jon (Dena) Kaufman, Jacob (Aundrea Hull) Brown, Molly (Matt) Lunning, Sam (Michelle) Brummer, Joe (Tori) Brummer; great nieces and nephews; special friend, Joe Nielsen; other relatives and many friends.
