Patricia Joan Dills

Patricia Joan Dills was born on July 4, 1933 in Ridgeway, Missouri, to Lewis and Nellie (Hartness) Stockwell. She attended school in Minden, Iowa, and played basketball during her years at school.
After graduation, she was married to Donald Heilig. Seven children were born to this union: Randy, Brian, Roger, Deborah, Doug, Kristin, and Robin.
Patricia worked as a waitress and was a housewife. She was a devoted mother. Her hobbies include sewing and crocheting, knitting, gardening and canning the vegetables that she grew, crossword puzzles and reading.
She was united in marriage to Dennis Dills and had one son, Patrick. After her husband�s death, she resided in Omaha until her own death on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. She had attained the age of seventy-five years, seven months, and eight days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dennis, and her brothers Harold and Gene and her sister Roxanne.
Patricia is survived by her children: Randy Heilig of Shelby, Iowa, Brian Heilig of Omaha, Nebraska, Roger Heilig and his wife Vanessa of Shelby, Deborah and her husband Doug Seymour of Crescent, Iowa, Doug Heilig and his wife Michelle of Avoca, Iowa, Kristin Heilig of Shelby, Robin Heilig and his wife Melissa of Kansas City, Missouri, and Patrick Dills and his wife Mary of Malvern, Iowa; twenty-two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Juanita Adams of Sedalia, Missouri; and brothers Larry Stockwell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Allan Stockwell and his wife Kay of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, and Bill Stockwell and his wife Lois of Elk Horn, Iowa; other family members and friends.
Funeral Services were held on Monday, February 16, 2009, at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca, Iowa. Bishop Mark Pivarunas officiated the 3:00 PM service. Interment was held at the Shelby Cemetery in Shelby, Iowa, with Roger Heilig, Robin Heilig, Doug Heilig, Doug Seymour, Patrick Dills, and Shawn Seymour acting as casket bearers
