Peg Booth

Peggy Ann Booth, daughter of Russell Chipman and Dorothy Noehren Chipman, was born on January 7, 1948 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Peg attended and graduated from Harlan Community High School. After graduation, she attended the University of Nebraska and obtained her Teaching Degree in 1970.
Peg taught school in St. Johnbury, Vermont for many years. She later moved to Harlan and opened a business called The Tooth Fairy in downtown Harlan. In the mid-90's, Peggy worked in public relations for The Ford Group in California. She then started Booth Media Group. In the summer of 2020, she moved back to Harlan in semi-retirement.
On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, Peggy passed away peacefully at her home in Harlan, Iowa. In addition to her parents, Russell and Dorothy Chipman, she was preceded in death by her infant sister Sandra Chipman.
She is survived by her children Christopher Booth (Jennifer) of Harlan, IA; Emily (Almichael) Concordia of San Jose, CA; grandchildren Alexandria & Jack Concordia; siblings Pat Chipman of Harlan, IA; Rick (Cheryl) Chipman of Harlan, IA as well as other family members and many friends.
