Ronald Lee Gardner, son of Clifford and Myrtle (Christensen) Gardner, was born November 15, 1956 in Harlan, Iowa. He attended Harlan High School.
Ron worked in the Maintenance Department at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan. Ron loved John Deere tractors and ‘68 Chevelles. Safety was always important to him. After retiring, Ron enjoyed watching Deadliest Catch and American Pickers. He was a loving father, grandfather and a good friend.
He died at his home in rural Harlan, Iowa on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, attaining the age of sixty-two years, six months and ten days. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children Jennifer Gardner of Harlan, Iowa; Tracy Gardner of Warsaw, Missouri; Crystal Gardner of Atlantic, Iowa; Devin Gardner of Atlantic, Iowa; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers Norman (Betty) Gardner of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Gary (Jeanne Mae) Gardner of Missouri; nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
