Rosalie J. Outka

Rosalie Jean Sorensen Outka was born on February 7, 1942 to Jack and Ruth (Rhodes) Sorensen in Harlan, Iowa. She was raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the Class of 1960.
She became a medical transcriptionist and worked at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital in Council Bluffs as well as hospitals in Omaha, Nebraska.
Rosalie had moved to Mount Pleasant, Iowa, where she died in her home on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 having attained the age of seventy-two years, two months, and twenty-three days. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
She is survived by her sister Patricia and her husband Dennis Bailey of Council Bluffs, Iowa; brothers Jack Sorensen and his wife Judi of New Braunfels, Texas and Robert Sorensen and his wife Joy of Sealy, Texas; aunt Mary Ann Pedersen of Council Bluffs, Iowa; eight nieces; one nephew; other family members and friends.
