Roselee Sievers, daughter of Richard Zimmerman and Donna Walters, was born on January 6, 1956 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Roselee and her family moved around when she was a little girl and settled in Walnut, Iowa where she obtained her GED. She was united into marriage on May 17, 1980 to Walter Sievers at the United Church of Christ in Avoca, Iowa. To this union three children were born: Ranea, Reita and Jeremy.

Rose was almost always crafting, sewing, painting, crocheting or knitting. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved working in her flower beds and watching the hummingbirds. She ran an in home daycare before working in environmental services at Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn. Above all the work and extra time, she most importantly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Roselee passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan having attained the age of sixty-three years, ten months and three days. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of thirty-nine years Walter Sievers of Walnut, Iowa; children Ranea Sievers of Walnut; Reita (Nate) Larsen of Blair, NE; Jeremy (Samantha) Sievers of Walnut; grandchildren Zoe, Kyle, Dexter, Dane, London, Landry, Ethan, Raegan, Jersey; parents Richard and Donna; siblings Pam (Bill) Upright, Bonnie (Bobby) Bridgeman, Susie Zimmerman, Annette Zimmerman, Richard (Kathy) Zimmerman, Angel Walters, Dennis (Betty) Akers, Linda (Jon) Hall, Janet (Randall) Lawson, Ron Akers; nieces and nephews; other family and many friends.
