Rubyann Beermann

RubyAnn Margaretha Auguste (Petersen) Beermann, the daughter of Jurgen and Alice (Mesenbrink) Petersen, was born on a farm outside of Schleswig, Iowa on May 13, 1931. She was baptized on June 11, 1933, at Friedens Evangelical Church in Schleswig, Iowa. On March 30, 1947, she was confirmed at Friedens Evangelical Church in Schleswig, Iowa.
She attended Morgan Township Schools where she graduated from the 8th grade on August 16, 1946. She lived on the family farm near Denison, Iowa until marriage.
RubyAnn was united in marriage to Glen H. Beermann on December 7, 1958 at the Friedens Evangelical Church in Schleswig, Iowa. The couple settled on the family farm. She was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, Iowa.
RubyAnn enjoyed many things in life: Dancing, card playing, fancy work, living on the farm , where she loved watching the crops and livestock grow.
RubyAnn passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison, Iowa attaining the age of 91 years and 8 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glen, sisters Mildred Rusch and Darlene Justice, half-brothers Roy and John Whited, and half- sisters Hertha Klotz Saxton, Gladys Rusch, and Betty Boysen .
Left to cherish her memory is her sister Joleen Carstenson of Denison, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
