Scott David Graham was born on August 15, 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the son of Marshall and Joyce (Wilkens) Graham and was one of three children in the family. At the age of three, he was struck with polio but was able to overcome his disability and led a very productive life. He attended school at Franklin Elementary and Omaha Central High School and graduated with the class of 1968. While in high school he was a member of the Reserve Officers Training Corp.

Scott was united in marriage to Diosdada Tomoric on July 2, 1990 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They are the parents of two daughters, Arrianne and Alexa. The family has lived in the Shelby, Iowa area since 1990.

Scott was employed by Creighton University in the Holter Lab for fifteen years reading tapes created by EKG monitors. He then worked as a technical support person for the Sprint Telephone Company. In recent years, Scott has worked part time at Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan, Iowa where he also scanned tapes created from the Holter monitors. He was very meticulous about the details of his work. Scott was a very giving person all his life, and even at death he was a tissue donor. He also was very mechanical and as a hobby he built his own Harley three-wheeler and drove it to California and Arkansas.

Scott died on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Myrtue Memorial Hospital in Harlan, Iowa. He had attained the age of fifty six years, eleven months and twenty three days. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Diosdada and their daughters, Arrianne and Alexa, all of Shelby, Iowa; his brother, Gary Graham and his wife Cheryl of Omaha, Nebraska; his sister, Robyn O'Driscoll and her husband Ron of Buffalo, Wyoming; nieces and nephews: Mikeal Loneman and her husband Jerry of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Jeff Beasley of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Katie Graham and Christopher Graham, both of Omaha, Nebraska; great nieces and nephews: Ashley, Brianna, Amanda, Sydney and Andre'; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services were held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca, Iowa with Father John Frost as the clergy. Serving as casket bearers were Gary Graham, Jeff Beasley, Jerry Lomema, Ron O’Driscoll, John Bolton and Craig Botter.
