September M Nee was born on October 4, 1979, to Roxanne Pedersen in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a child, September enjoyed playing volleyball and soccer. September met Clay Nee by chance one day when she stopped into the gas station while he was working. They were united in marriage on September 6, 2002. Together they raised their daughters, Storm, Wynter and Megan.
September was a very hard worker throughout her entire life. She worked various jobs but spent most of her years at the food plant in Denison, Iowa. Some of her favorite hobbies included riding motorcycles with her husband and friends, going fishing, woodworking, and going to the casino. She especially loved going to garage sales.
September passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, at her home in Defiance. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Clay Nee of Defiance, Iowa; daughters, Storm (Juan) Meza of Denison, Iowa, Wynter Stokes of Minnesota, and Megan Nee of Defiance, Iowa; mother, Roxanne Pedersen of Council Bluffs, Iowa; other relatives and many friends.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life for September at a later date.
