Sharon Kaye Bladt

Sharon Kaye Bladt was born on October 8, 1948 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Willis and Norma (Petersen) Bladt. She was the oldest of three children in the family. She attended school in Avoca and graduated from AvoHa High School with the Class of 1966. She then attended the Americana Hair Academy School in Des Moines and graduated in 1967.
After beauty school, Sharon made her home in Omaha working at various beauty salons in the Metro Omaha area. In 2008, she moved back to the Avoca area. She then worked at Menards near Shelby, Iowa. She remained at home in Avoca until December of 2012, at which time she moved to the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn, Iowa due to a serious and sudden illness.
This is where Sharon died on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 having attained the age of sixty-four years, three months, and fifteen days. She was preceded in death by her father Willis Bladt on June 22, 2011.
She is survived by her mother, Norma Bladt; brother, Dennis Bladt; sister, Julie Wade and her significant other Bruce Arp; and nephew, Anthony Wade, all of Avoca, Iowa; her dog, Katie; other relatives and friends.
